GREENPEG project launches

The Horizon 2020 GREENPEG project, designed to improve exploration in Europe for pegmatites, has launched. Pegmatites are sources of critical raw materials and GREENPEG seeks shorter, more secure supply chains for pure silia, Li, Ta, Cs, Be for the energy transition and other emerging technologies. 

The project aims to use a modular sequence of optimised exploration methods from ground, air and space-based information.
