The objectives of work package 7 are the following:
- Provide efficient access to the knowledge gained by and collected during the project, via an openaccess online web portal;
- Design this web portal to facilitate its link with the existing Minerals4EU European Minerals Knowledge Data Platform (EU-MKDP, see http://minerals4eu.brgm-rec.fr/), in order to benefit from its already recognized visibility and reputation;
- Design it to facilitate exchange of knowledge between EU regions with raw materials production capacity.
It is important to mention here that WP7 will manage explicit knowledge produced by other WPs of the project. This knowledge will be semi-structured (e.g., formatted datasets) or non-structured (documents, graphs, tables, pictures, etc.), and properly indexed in order to be retrievable and exploitable. MIREU’s WP7 will also provide support to WP8 on Dissemination and Communication, in delivering knowledge gained during the project to the EIP Raw Materials Scoreboard, especially in terms of regional dimension of framework conditions and Social License to operate (SLO).

EIT Raw Materials' triple degree Master European Mining Course (EMC) closes its application process next week. The course covers all aspects of the mineral resources mining cycle and is designed to provide a solid understanding of the global mining industry and mining value chains.
The Industrial modernisation S3P Mining industry and the ERRIN task force on raw materials invite you to an online roundtable discussion on the future of the EU mining regions collaboration. It will be an opportunity to learn more about the initiatives supporting the networking of mining regions.
An upcoming webinar series from the MIREU project will take place across three afternoons.
